Gray your best or do not gray at all!

Winter will never be winter without over the knee boots and gray outfits. March is here and there’s still snow and cold winds in some parts of the world. Gray outfits are a resemblance of the cold months, but it’s also the perfect excuse to look sophisticated.
Gray is another neutral color of preference this time of the year. Some people find gray outfits boring. But doesn’t my outfit look amazing though! No matter who you are or where you come from, if you put together a neutral outfit the right way you will look amazing and elegant.

Start with the clothes you will wear underneath the coat. You can always choose pants, leggings, a nice blouse, or a dress. The 30-40 F degree weather allows to expose a bit of leg. I selected a fitted sweater style dress. It’s simple and comfy, but yet elegant. The lines, cut and the semi turtle neck provides a polish result.

Continue to build up the outfit by choosing shoes. Definitely, a pair of black over the knee boots will make any dress look amazing. The suede boots make you look great, slim and they are very comfortable. You can walk the entire city with these types of boots and you will be fine afterwards; no need to call the ambulance haha.
To complete the attire, select your coat. Out of all of the pieces of the outfit, the coat can be the priciest item. But investing in a good quality coat is very much worth it. The Zara coat that I am wearing is classic but modern.

My Outfit:

Zara gray coat. Gray dress and black over the knee boots are both from Marshalls.
You don’t have to break the bank to be able to look great. Boots cost me $40 and the dress was $45. The Zara coat was $100-$120. My trick is not to purchase by impulse, or because of a sale. Wait and look for those unusual pieces. It’s best to leave the mall with just a few amazing items, rather than your arms full with bags but with not so great selection. My last advice would be if you don’t feel so sure about an item, try it on and then decide if you will buy it or not. On the rack clothes can look good or not so appealing, but once you try it on you can decide if it works and if that outfit will suit your body type.

So fun shooting with my sister. By the way, it was 19 degrees Fahrenheit; if you were curious. We took the pictures in the city of St. Paul, MN.

I left a few links below for several coats, dresses, and boots for you to look at and purchase if interested. I wish Zara could keep their inventory on their USA site, but they sell out quick; so I couldn’t find the exact once. Same with the dress and boots, but I linked very similar boots and dresses.

Leave me a comment below! I want to know what do you think about my outfit.
