Sleeves Amplified

Spring is here and I have already transitioned my style; starting by putting my winter coats and sweaters to rest. Admittedly, it feels refreshing to have a bit warmer weather, and to be able to wear lighter fabrics.
Pastels seem to be the color range of preference spring after spring, but I am not a pastel enthusiast. I mostly gravitate towards the neutrals, as it shows throughout my blog.
In this particular shoot I selected a white bodysuit with diagonal black stripes, a navy pencil skirt, and black and white heels.

Spring definitely feels different this year. Fashion shows had an incredible selection of colors like, berries, reds, blacks, whites, mustard, browns, greens, and the list goes on. Very bold colors, and very elaborate strong designs full of personality for this season.
One outfit that stood out for me was called the exploded rose taffeta sleeves, by Alexander McQueen. The oversize sleeves are a trend that looks very high fashion, and I knew that I wanted to put together an outfit with this trend. I have come across this bodysuit in Zara this week and it reminded me of that outfit, so I immediately felt inspired and decided to do this shoot. I thought that it would be a great transition outfit from winter to spring. Tell me in the comments below if you agree.

White is one of my favorite colors to wear. Also, I love stripes; you will see lots of stripes outfits on this blog. The diagonal slogan print on the stripes say, “My Wish Your Desire”. I combined this blouse with a navy fitted pencil skirt and black and white heels. The fit of the skirt is amazing, and the elastic on the waist area works perfectly. The skirt is a Max Studio brand. I got the heels in forever 21 a few years ago and I adore these heels. I treat them like my babies and I try to not use them that much.

Again, a huge thank you to my talented sister and photographer Jessica!
